AppImage

One file, any distro, no repository and no root. Best for trying Tipsy quickly.

1. Download

Get the latest Tipsy-<version>-x86_64.AppImage from Tipsy-repo releases.

2. Run

chmod +x Tipsy-*-x86_64.AppImage
./Tipsy-*-x86_64.AppImage

AppImage is the one format that updates itself. The in app updater checks the signed latest.json feed and swaps the file atomically. Every other format updates through your package manager.

First launch with no client installed opens Settings. Finish the setup assistant, then choose Tipsy - Play.
